Quad-Citians Honored As Young Leaders


Nineteen young leaders were named 2011 Quad-Cities Area Leaders Under 40.

The community is invited to celebrate with them at the Black Hawk College Foundation's annual Quad-Cities Area Leaders Under 40 recognition dinner at 6 p.m. April 28 at the i wireless Center in Moline. The honored leaders live and work in the Quad-City area and take on various roles to create change and move their workplaces and communities forward. "The business organizations of the Quad-Cities are making a concentrated effort to keep our young people in the Quad-Cities area," event chairman Dennis Pauley said. "Events like Leaders Under 40 highlight the quality, young professionals we have in the area. They are the future of the Quad-Cities."
